How a peel works

A chemical peel uses a controlled application of acid to remove the outermost layers of skin, which prompts the deeper layers to rebuild with better tone, texture, and pigment uniformity. Strength is set by the acid, the concentration, and the depth of penetration.

The range we carry

Light lunch-break peels using glycolic, lactic, or mandelic acid that you can have on a Friday and be back at work on Monday. Medium-depth peels that produce visible peeling over five to seven days. And deeper peels for specific pigment and texture cases.

How they stack

Peel choice is matched to your skin, your calendar, and what you are correcting. Light peels stack well as monthly maintenance. Medium peels are usually annual or seasonal. Peels are also used to prep skin for a laser series or maintain results between laser visits.

Session length by depth

A light peel session is fifteen to thirty minutes with essentially no downtime beyond a day of subtle flaking. A medium-depth peel is forty-five to sixty minutes with three to seven days of visible peeling. A deeper peel is a longer session with recovery set case by case.

The peeling window

Immediate post-peel sensation is warmth and mild stinging that fades within an hour. Peeling begins two to four days after treatment for medium peels and lasts three to seven days, requiring strict sun avoidance during the window and for weeks after.
