Three wavelengths in one session

Blue light at 415nm targets and kills the P. acnes bacteria that drives inflammatory acne. Yellow light at 560nm calms visible redness and inflammation. Infrared targets deeper inflammation and stimulates the healing response.

Why the sequence matters

Blue light alone kills bacteria but does not address the inflammation already present or the marks left behind. The three-wavelength sequence is what makes Forever Clear different from single-wavelength blue-light-only acne treatments. It works on all three problems in one visit.

Course and combinations

Three to five sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. No downtime, and safe alongside most topical or oral acne medications, though a full medication review happens at consultation. Often paired with microneedling or peels for the textural scarring acne leaves.

The session itself

Session length is thirty to forty-five minutes for the three-wavelength sequence. Sensation is a series of bright flashes plus warmth; most patients tolerate the session without numbing. Cooling is used during the infrared portion for comfort.

What changes first

Recovery is mild flushing for a few hours. Active inflammatory acne responds first, usually visibly calmer within one to two weeks after the first session. Post-inflammatory redness and marks fade progressively across the series.

The full course

Three to five sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. Results build across the series and beyond as the bacterial and inflammatory burden reduces. Often paired with microneedling or peels within the same cadence to address textural scarring.
