The three-step handpiece

HydraFacial uses a proprietary handpiece that combines low-suction extraction with simultaneous delivery of cleansing, exfoliating, and hydrating serums. The three steps are cleanse and peel, extract and hydrate, then fuse antioxidants and peptides into the treated skin.
Skin · HydraFacial

What it actually clears

Exfoliation and clearance of pore contents, which is why patients often see visible improvement in blackheads and pore appearance, plus infused hydration, without the downtime of a chemical peel or the aggressive extraction of a traditional facial.
Skin · HydraFacial

Where it fits

Well-suited to first-time med spa patients, as a standing monthly appointment for maintenance, or as prep before an event where visible clarity matters within twenty-four hours. It combines safely with most other treatments.

The session

Session length is thirty to forty-five minutes. The three-step process is comfortable and non-invasive: cleansing and light peeling, extraction with simultaneous hydration through the handpiece, and infusion of antioxidants and peptides.

Right after

There is no downtime and no visible marking. Skin looks brighter, more hydrated, and clearer walking out of the treatment room, and often looks best over the following twenty-four to forty-eight hours as the actives continue to work.
